    Needed to scan a datamatrix code. My old QR scanner won’t read datamtrix but this app claims to fill that need and has a trial version and is “totally free.” It is NOT totally free, which i assumed as the appstore indicates “in-app purchases.” That was strike one. Installed the app and it came right up with a default to purchase a 7-day trial for a buck, and a tiny “x” up top of the left corner. This is misleading as the “x” is easily missed. Strike two. I opted out of the not-free-but-we-will-mislead-you screen. It requested access to the camera, granted. While it WILL display the datamatrix code clearly on screen it wont read it. Strike three. I deleted this waste of 5min. FYI, its not my iphone 13 pro running ios 17.1 as other barcode readers see the code and spit back gibberish because they aren't datamtrix interpreters. Find something else.

    The free trial doesn’t work to start out with. Then when I try to choose a payment subscription, nothing happens. Closed and left.

    I had the nuclear launch codes as a bar code and this stupid app wouldn’t register what I was trying to scan. Thus forth, the ability to gain access to this confidential information became restricted, and my dreams of POTUS were crushed. I’m going to go work at a construction yard. Congratulations, you killed the dreams of a blooming young boy GOOD DAY

    When you first download it, you can scan something for the first time, but then when you try to scan another item, you got to pay to get more scans makes no sense still a good app. It’s just that I don’t like it. How do you supposed to pay for more scans
